I am a part time software consultant and full time graduate student. I have a fairly broad range of experience across the field of Computer Science. I also have a healthy appetite for more. There is always more to know. My favorite CS electives as an undergrad were compilers, programming languages and operating systems. But then again I also got a huge kick out of digital image processing, AI, and robotics.

Like many of my contemporaries, college turned me into a Java programmer. However, I know quite a few other languages and one of my favorite things to do it to try out the cool features of a new language every now and then. Lately I have been massively geeking out on Scala.

More generally, I love working on challenging and interesting projects, so I plan to actively create opportunities to continue working on them in the future.
