Another answer here [1] mentioned fractals. Some comments ensued that fractals are not a part of TCS. This seems a little offRelating to me. Isn't there important works in fractals inside TCS? (I recall having this exact same topic arise many years ago & also have seen it addressed/debated years ago in Scientific American magazine.) offhand can think of some examples myself & if the discussion on whether fractals are part of TCS, my question is not down voted will add some.:
